WHO TF IS MOTHER WILD?
Mother Wild is a global community of kick-ass mothers who do cool shit (as well as keep little humans alive.)
We aspire to raise happy and healthy mothers one mother at a time.
We are wild-hearted mothers of short crazies.
We take 3 breaths together at the start of anything. Because it is the most effective way of calming ourselves TF down.
We live on different continents (USA/ Europe/Japan) which means that for every team meeting one is either falling asleep or waking up.
We speak different languages, we come from different socio-economic backgrounds, and we are a mix of ethnicities.
We have no religious affiliation, though we are spiritual-curious.
Some of us swear profusely while some of us are reincarnations of Mary Oliver (aka Lindsay Kellar-Madsen).
We have secret love affairs with traveling or going on adventures. Mostly solo.
We are a little unpolished (ok, fine, maybe with the exception of Angeli Gunn.)
We have jam packed full lives (full time jobs, school runs, lunches, laundry, etc) and in our tiny pockets of “me time” we run Mother Wild.
Raising toddlers and working multiple jobs behind the scenes is no joke. We actually have a WhatsApp thread called “Mother Wild fucking shit up” to admit when we have made a mistake. Makes us giggle. #universaltimezones.
We silently give each other permission to rewild. To find our own roadmap to mothering. To live and mother in a way that feels right to us. #redesignmotherhood
We are happy to hold you by the hand and show you how this new land of mothering could look like.
We work tirelessly (as all mothers do) with constant chaos around us. And then we rest. Hard.
We cheerlead mothers to reconnect with themselves, find their village, and actualize their potential.
We have built a virtual mama village on a global scale. Come drop some sense of responsibility off your shoulders with us.
We care not how you parent because it will reflect in how you mother yourself. And that’s what we truly care about.

She is a community + friendship builder, glitter glue camel, and a weaver of absolute chaos.
She is our dancing dreamer and our dreamy dancer.
She is like a tidal wave but in a good way, as in she reaches many people and her positive ripple effect is felt for a long time after.
She currently lives in Kamakura, Japan with her 2 kids.
FUN FACT: She loves salt and always carries some in her bag.

She is THE Mother Goddess of all mothers.
She is the actual mother of 3 kids under 4, a dog, and chickens living on Whidbey Island in Washington State.
She is our collective nurturer and our most articulate wordsmith.
She is the first to validate Carmela’s dreams.
There is seemingly never too much chaos on her full plate.
She refers to herself as a walking shit-show. But in reality, she floats into rooms with this contagious sparkling bright joyful energy everywhere she goes.
FUN FACT: She likes to collect pretty textiles gathered from her adventures around the world.

She is a multi-passionate wonder.
She is our calm and serene compass who moved from Washington DC to Tokyo, Japan and then to Sapporo, Japan with her husband and 2 daughters - all during the pandemic.
She keeps us on track with her gentle yet grounding guidance and with a wonderful sense of humor.
She is a master of organization and planning which is how she is able to juggle so many incredible projects at the same time.
She speaks quietly and in a soft voice to say the most powerful things.
She is equally humble as she is gifted.
She radiates this deep sense of inner peace no matter what is going on externally.
There is a regal quality to her.
FUN FACT: She is a closet Bollywood fan.

She is a dream maker master- in her presence insane dreams get manifested.
She is our high priestess of sensuality, our relaxed badass mother, & our pleasure goddess.
She moves us along with a silent twinkle in her eye.
She teaches us how to:
- awaken our femininity
- embrace the slow life
- and not to be apologetic about it all.
She always looks absolutely fabulous and also ready to be by your side with a cement mixer to pave the way for you.
She was born under a lucky universe. She is mother of 1 and stepmother of 3 living out of Canada (for now.)
FUN FACT: She can fly a small plane but hasn’t practiced landing one. Yet.

She is beyond artistically gifted.
She is also a ruthless vanilla killer.
We love her unapologetic feminine charm and her contagious mystical free-spirited energy that awakens something in the rest of us.
She is our creative firestarter and the queen of visual expression.
She has this incredibly intuitive ability of capturing the spirit of an idea and quickly giving it a concrete visual world.
FUN FACT: She loves bringing people together and going into another room and hearing the sound of distant voices.

She is our master powerhouse- our pillar of inner strength.
In her presence we feel empowered, as in our spines lengthen and strengthen.
She is our unapologetic Swedish-bossbabe living in London.
She recently gave birth in her living room to her fourth baby. She is the definition of what it means to be a strong mother, before, during, and after pregnancy.
She is so down to earth, grounded, and humble. Too humble as she actually just made us delete a bunch of things that make her sound big and important, which she is.
We admire her for being so present when she shows up. We find it so refreshing to meet a mother who is not trying to be everything to everyone.
FUN FACT: Growing up, she wanted to be an FBI agent.
